How to submit Maya problem

Be sure that you use the latest graphics card drivers before you post your problem.
Please follow these steps for submitting your problems to FurryBall forum - it will help faster solve your problem.
1) Send your System Info - Maya version, FurryBall version, graphics cards, CPU, RAM etc.
2) Send whole log from Maya output window
3) Describe deeply your problem. If your FurryBall STOPPED rendering, describe what was changed in your computer (new hardware, new software installation)
4) You can also send simple example (picture or scene)
Also be sure that you read FAQ

Zdravim,

jsme cerstvymi vlastniky licence na FurryBall RT a mame jeden velmi konkretni produkcni problem, ktery se tyka podpory layeredTexture nodu. Mame pripraveny shader v maye pro ucely animace, ktery vyuziva layeredTextures a projection,
ale finalni shader nam ve FurryBallu zobrazuje pouze nejspodnejsi a nejsvrchnejsi vrstvu tohoto layeredTexture nodu. Vrstvy, ktere jsou mezi tim, zobrazeny nejsou. Jde nam primarne o mody prolnuti Over,Multiply a Lighten. V nasem nodu pouzivame 4 vrstvy, v produkcni verzi bychom jich radi meli 5.

Pro lepsi predstavu prikladam snimek. Funkcnost tohoto nodu je pro nas zasadni, takze ocenime jakoukoliv pomoc.

Všechny uvedené módy by měli fungovat a počet vrstev je neomezený.
Bez textur a zapojení, nemůžeme říct, kde je problém. Zkontrolujte si, jaké textury máte zapojeny do jednotlivých vrstev v alpha atributu (hlavně zda mají napojené textury alpha kanál).
Případně pošlete scénu s touto layerovou texturou a s texturami.

FurryBall bohužel nepodporuje projection node, který je zapojený do 2. a 3. vrstvy.

Co by se s tim dalo delat? Dala by se podpora do FurryBallu dodelat? Pro nas je to naprosto zasadni věc, kterou jen tezko budeme nahrazovat. Uvazujeme ještě o dalších licencích FurryBallu, ale pokud by toto neslo... Diky za odpověď.

Dívali jsme se na to, a planární projekce pomocí 3D textury jak máte by udělat šla.

Máte tam ještě něco dalšího speciálního?

To by bylo super. Layered shader nam ve FB normalne funguje, jediny problém je ta 3D projekce, kterou potrebujeme hybat. Zatím nevime o zadnem jiné věci.
