Dear users,
we are sorry to inform you, that we had to end development of our FurryBall after almost ten years!
We will give FurryBall for free to all users, but without any Maintenace and Support.
Because we have to keep our servers working, we have set the symbolic price 29,- EUR per year.
Hope you will understand us and keep using FurryBall if it fits you.
Thanks for all those nice years with GPU rendering.
Your FurryBall team

Hi again, i have two problems.

1)
When I have furryball material on object I can't paint color/mask in xgen.

But when I have standard material for example blinn, then I can paint, but these colors won't render in furryball.

I have assigned furrybal hair material, how can I color hairs in chosen areas? When I assign UV texture to body color in furryball hair material, it change color but for each spline separately, not in areas.

Assign your texture to color scale (you can use only one texture in color scale ramp).

Try to use texture in FurryBall directional / spot / point / area / ambient light.

Hmm, I don't get it, it's not working like I want to. It's just coloring each polygon separately, not looking at UV cube I guess.

No. but it's 3rd plugin for maya and not so cheap ;p I wanted just use xgen for fur. Xgen looks really good but impossibility to color is a bit weak.

Is any chance to add this possibility to one of next releases? Or it's impossible to add/fix this?

I don't want to create new topic so i'm writing here.

I have a weird issue in my scene. I created whiskers with xgen splines, and increasing CV Count causes this issue:
