Dear users,
we are sorry to inform you, that we had to end development of our FurryBall after almost ten years!
We will give FurryBall for free to all users, but without any Maintenace and Support.
Because we have to keep our servers working, we have set the symbolic price 29,- EUR per year.
Hope you will understand us and keep using FurryBall if it fits you.
Thanks for all those nice years with GPU rendering.

So I'm curious.
I break down almost every job into easily defined "sub"scenes, so I can rerender one character or one element quickly on revision.
As a result, I use the environment maps for reflections to "fake" the overall reflections whenever possible.

I always have my bottom layer of sky and distant horizon that is usually made from simple image planes with some transparency.

With FBRT, what do you suggest for sampling, just to quickly blast out these flat 2.5D planes that make the horizon and sky?
I can always just export my camera and do this in AE, but if Furry ball renders it faster, then Why Not use FB?

If you want to render just some planes, turn off all features except textures and for sampling there will be enough 20-30.
It has to render in realtime.
