Sorry if this is covered somewhere else on the boards, but a few quick searches didn't turn up anything. Is the Render To Texture opeartion supported by FB in Max? I set up a simple scene using standard Max materials and the MentalRay renderer to do the projection and then swapped the standard materials for FurryBall Materials and then switched to the FurryBall renderer, but when I try to render to texture, nothing seems to render into the frame buffer.
I'm trying to render the outline of some shapes into the UV2 of another mesh. The setup is pretty straightforward. The shapes to project have a material on it with a diffuse with an alpha which defines the shapes. The diffuse, specular and ambient color are all set to white and specular / reflection is turned off. The object to receive the projection has a FB Material with the color set to black. I leave all the render settings as default. Again, a similar setup in MR gets me the results I expect (the shapes rendered white against a black background in UV set 2), but with FB i get nothing. Any one know if Render To Texture is no supported or if I'm just missing some obvious step? Thanks!

Hi - no render to texture (texture baking) is not supported in FurryBall.
