How to submit your problem
Be sure that you use the latest graphics card drivers before you post your problem.
Please follow these steps for submitting your problems to FurryBall forum - it will help faster solve your problem.
1) Send System Info: FurryBall HWID, FurryBall version, graphics card, graphics card drivers version, Maya version, operating system
2) Send Log from Maya output window
4) Describe deeply your problem. If your FurryBall STOPPED rendering, describe what was changed in your computer (new hardware, new software installation)
5) You can also send simple example (picture or scene)

I have a polygon plane in maya that has a blinn attached. The material has a .PNG file in the color with an alpha channal. I've attached a FB material node and checked the alpha mask on. The alpha works fine, except that I have a gradient on the alpha. The image is supposed to slowly fade into transparency, but when I render with FB, it goes straight from solid to transparent, with no subtle gradient transparency in between. Is there a way to fix this?
I am using maya 2013, FB 3

Sorry - the last version of FurryBall 3 was released just 3 years ago.
FurryBall 3 is also no more supported - we recommend to test new FurryBall RT and upgrade.

alpha mask is only visible/invisible, you must use transparency (enable it in features in render settings node), not alpha mask.
