Hi, I created these skylights but I can't find how to get rid of the noise in the volumelight (the patterns you see).
I tried to higher the volumesamples in the furryBallFluidSettings but that doesn't make a difference.

HI,

I have been trying the "volume light effect" in a trial version. But I am not getting any result. I can´t really find any other documentation about this feature except in here, so please help if you have the time:
What I am doing is following Vivs advance:

I create a light (spotlight)
I create a fluid container and adding a Fluid render attribute for FB and clicking on under the comman tab: "Maya Overide Sampling" (leaving it at 1) and adjusting the "Shadow Transparancy" to 0.5.
I click on DepthMap shadows in the Spotligt.
So far I cant see anything.

I have tried:
Adding a light render attribute for FB
Adding a density in the fluid container.

What am I missing here for that nice volume light to show up in Furry?

Cheers
Rickard

ps. Im running a Quadro 4000 with 2 Gig Videoram.

Depth map shadows have turned on the lights irradiation on the fluid. But you can not open wide line tracing shows. I ask how to solve?
