Is there a way to get a fresnel reflection falloff with furryball? Can I use a custom hlsl or cgfx shader?

This is what I got sofar. Im trying to get better reflections on a eyeball. To simulate a wet reflective surface I need less reflections at straight angles, more and glancing angles. Like the velvet feature but for reflections as well. Those blin spec highlights do have a falloff but their shape looks bad. Im using a environment background image at the moment. Without the falloff the eyeball looks like plastic.

We're not that far yet, now we don't have any mechanism to supply custom shaders.
